Beijing Energy Holding Co., Ltd (BEH),a state-owned enterprise wholly funded by the Beijing Municipal Government, is tasked with the critical mission of ensuring a secure and reliable energy supply for China's capital. Established in 2004 through the merger of two predecessor investment companies, BEH expanded its integrated energy chain via subsequent mergers with the Beijing Heating Group in 2011 and the Beijing Jingmei Group in 2014.
Through years of strategic consolidation, BEH has evolved from a single-sector energy provider into a diversified industrial group, with operations spanning heating, power generation, coal, wellness tourism, and beyond. By the end of 2024, the Group had grown its asset base to RMB 493.4 billion, generating annual revenue of RMB 97.5 billion. It oversees more than 860 wholly-owned or controlled subsidiaries and holds stakes in over 120 other enterprises. With a workforce exceeding 34,000, BEH's investments extend across 33 provincial-level regions in China and multiple international markets.
The Group controls six listed companies, including Jingneng Clean Energy, Jingneng Power, and BEIJING ENERGY INTERNATIONAL. Its profitability consistently ranks among the highest of all Beijing-based municipal enterprises. In 2024, BEH was ranked 247th among China's Top 500 Enterprises and 87th among the Top 500 Service Enterprises in China.
In November 2022, the three partners established a joint venture—Jingxin (Pingdingshan) Renewable Energy Co., Ltd., in which our company holds a 45% stake, to collaborate on clean energy development, green power trading, hydrogen energy initiatives, energy storage applications, and the construction of low-carbon demonstration zones.
